"My source of inspiration comes from the common theme of diminishing the self and awakening to God's universal love and light. Some of my spiritual paintings were created with pastels. The use of pastels can be a practice in intuitive art and meditation. In taking the time to remove my "self" from the process I visit different colors and the way they appear on the paper with a child-like heart. I let my feelings take hold of the creation and let the process unfold naturally."
