Artist Statement

"I enjoy creating inspirational drawings and spiritual artwork that give a sense of well-being and empowerment. I try to portray a glimpse at God's creative spark of devine love and light. A common theme is the diminishing of the selfish ego and an awakening to the universal love that is God. My source of inspiration comes from nature, verses from the Holy Bible, and spiritual concepts taught by Jesus Christ.

Some of my paintings were created with pastels. The use of pastels can be a practice in intuitive art and meditation. In taking the time to remove my "self" from the process I visit different colors and the way they appear on the paper with a child-like heart. I let my feelings take hold of the creation and let the process unfold naturally."
