Unframed canvas means that the artwork is not set into a frame. It can still be hung on your walls without a frame because the canvas comes pre-stretched and stapled onto wooden bars that create a simple internal frame. Unframed canvas prints are very popular. The modern minimalist look works especially well with today’s contemporary furniture and overall interior setting. If you plan to hang your canvas unframed then we suggest a gallery wrap because this means the canvas is stretched onto 1.5″ thick stretcher bars that are strong enough to be hung without the support of a frame. The chunkier proportions also compliment the canvas artwork as a whole, giving it a little more visual strength, something you need since there is no border frame.

A framed canvas print is also lovely and can feel more completed in a well appointed setting. Framed canvas works best when it matches and harmonizes with interior decoration. The frame itself can complement and highlight the quality of artwork. If you decide to frame abstract canvas art we prefer floater frames. They are simple and provide understated elegance to the art. They are available in gold, black, white, silver, brown, and more. If you choose a more traditional frame you can order the canvas art on the thinner 5/8” stretcher bars. This will reduce cost and give you more framing options.

Jaison’s abstract art is digital mixed media.  The images are the result of a digital layering process from a traditional painting, photography, and digital art. As such they are available for sale as a wall art print made to order on a variety of artistic surfaces including canvas, paper, wood, metal, and acrylic.  If you desire a painting texture then we recommend a canvas print made by Pictorem.  They allow for options such as gloss varnish, epoxy coating, or hand embellishment with 3D artistic knife texture.

Yes.  The prints available at our shop page are fine art giclée prints.  A giclée is a fine art print created by using the most advanced inkjet printers. There are 3 distinguishing factors to a giclée print: First they are printed by a large format professional grade printer with a wide range of colors. Second, the print was made using archival quality pigmented ink as opposed to dyes. And third, they are printed on an acid-free archival substrate, usually high quality artist paper or canvas. The wider range of colors and superior resolution creates an image that not only looks better but lasts longer.

Metal is actually a wonderful material to print on.  Metal print offer superior HD image clarity and a luminous quality unlike any other material. The image is directly printed onto 1/16″ thick sheet of aluminum that has been specially treated with a primer and a high gloss finish. A wooden frame is then adhered to the back so that when you hang the artwork it is offset from the wall and appears to float. Shipping this material is also very affordable which makes it an obvious choice for one of Jaison’s large artworks.

When ordering through our Pictorem website, shipping is free and import taxes do not apply if you are located in North America.  If you are in another part of the world, prints that can be rolled in a tube can be shipped to you (e.g. rolled canvas, paper, murals), but shipping and import fees will be calculated by going through the checkout process.

When ordering through our Pixels / Fine Art America website, wall art prints are produced and shipped worldwide from a fulfillment center located either in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, or Australia. When you place an order it will be automatically routed to the nearest manufacturing center in order to minimize shipping costs, speed up delivery times, and hopefully eliminate import tax. You can calculate final pricing with shipping by going through the checkout process.
