I hope to share my love for nature by expressing it in my own way and accentuating certain aspects. For this abstract energy art piece I was inspired by a beautiful sunset over the ocean and all the dancing colors that soothed my soul. I wanted to emphasize these rolling forms of textured color, expressing light and fluidness, the way the evening sunset allows you to be a part of the divine. The wonderful effect that a sunset and water have over me is probably the same for you, it is something that rises us up from the denseness of the world. My contemporary abstract artworks are created with vivid detail and texture. The most popular choice is a large canvas art print on glossy gallery canvas. My abstract art is for sale by visiting my Print Gallery where you can customize exactly how you would like my art reproduced for you. Please comment or email me if you have any questions.

My own thoughts and feelings when creating In The Light Of Each Other are that the vast oceanic landscape is like the Spirit of God and the sailboats are like us shining in the light of its glory, moving along in our own journey but always together. I believe the overall imagery and colors are very positive – gentle on the eyes and uplifting to the soul.
To create this very large seascape painting I used a special process and combination of digital mediums that is entirely unique – manipulating the artwork further as I went through experimentation and a little bit of luck. The original starting point image was actually a photograph of a spiraling wave very much different from what you see. That is part of the beauty in the creation process, to transform and evolve one inspiring thing into another, both different yet both related. How I derived at this seascape is a bit of a mystery even for myself, but the essence of the wave is still within it. This artwork was created in high definition like much of my other digital art works. If you are interested in a modern print on metal this seascape can reproduced as large as 60″ x 40″, and a museum quality gallery canvas can be made even larger at 72″ x 48″. Both large print sizes will reveal incredible detail and texture as you will see in the images below.
Farewell “Spiral Wave” you will be missed. This was an important piece for me created in 2008 that has finally found a home in Florida. While this painting wasn’t all that abstract, it marked a point where I felt comfortably compelled to combine abstract expressionism and realism together. There was something special in the dripped-on paint and splattered texture. By purchasing this painting directly from me the buyer saved some money. Selling price was $1800.
“But let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.” – Kahlil Gibran
This soft blue seascape painting has a nice feel with subtle color tones ranging from lavender to aqua marine blue. It’s painted with acrylic paints and applied with thick texture on a 24″ x 24″ gallery canvas. There is a small tiny lighthouse located on the land mass. Creating this tiny recognizable form allows for the viewer to know what it is while it also portrays the share size of the sky and ocean. I wanted to create a light open feel once again blending the ocean into the sky. A subtle variation in tone, the land mass, and texture sets them apart. You might also be able to notice a faint rainbow in the sky.
