When I created this piece I was inspired to create something entirely new. Every step seemed to be an experiment guided by my intuition. There are a multitude of layers all combined into one final cohesive mixed media digital painting. I feel the sweeping forms and the many colorful shapes give a sense of life and energy. Of course I’m always curious what other people see and feel. I find it fascinating. I had a comment on Facebook form another artist, Karin Törnkvist, who said it’s “like colorful, flaky leaves on a pond… Islands scattered over the ocean…”
But please let me know what you think. And of course prints are for sale custom made to order on paper or canvas. They can be made as small as 12″ x 6″ and as large as 96″ x 48″. The popular choice is a print on gallery wrapped canvas.

Here on the website, it is impossible to see and appreciate the depth and texture of Jai’s paintings. In person, they nearly live and breathe as expressions of his passion. Even the seascapes and landscapes are not 2-dimensional, but rather 3 and even 4 (if you include the dimension of your emotional response to what you see). Jai’s art is not a pleasant guitar solo, but an exploding symphony of color, texture and feeling. Even the subtle pieces are powerful. I wish there was a way to share that here on the website. People would be blown away!
I simply love his artwork! I feel tons of energy from his work that I can’t put into words so it’s hard for me to say what I “see” in the work. I don’t “see” anything I feel tons of energy like the thought process of God when he created some new part of the universe or earth. I get tons of energy from just the online images. I can’t wait to own my own copies (when i can afford to pay 4 figures! LOL)
