Spring Art Show at St. Joseph Hospital

The spring art reception at St. Joseph Hospital was really an awesome event. My work will continue to hang there for the next few months. Hopefully the staff and the patients being treated can gain some amount of positive, refreshing energy from the works as they walk by. It was mind opening to speak to one individual who clearly perceived my work with passion, extracting his own perception into words, that I must say were spot on with some of my own feelings when I created the artwork. I will never forget our conversation and that’s something that does not happen all the time at an art event.

Gallery Representation in Hot Springs Arkansas

I just wanted to share that I am now represented by Gallerie 801, which is located in downtown Hot Springs, Arkansas. As such, my work will be exhibited in the Gallery Walk which occurs on the first Friday of every month. The average attendance at Gallery Walk is 2,500 people or more. Hot Springs was actually rated one of the best art towns in America.  The gallery is very spacious and has a warm inviting feel – definitely worth visiting.

2009 Florence Biennale Art Exhibit Invitation

I am pleased to announce that I received an invitation to exhibit my artwork at the 2009 Florence Biennale art exhibit. The Internal Committee expressed “favorable opinion” for my participation.

The Florence Biennale is an international contemporary art exhibition held every two years in the Historical Fortezza da Basso in Florence, Italy. The Biennale is run by Arte Studio, whose first contemporary art exhibition occurred in 1986. Subsequent exhibits grew, and they eventually formed the first Biennale in 1997…According to Arte Studio, in 2007 there were 840 artists from 76 countries, and over 17,000 visitors.  [Source ]
