artist statement
"This painting was inspired because of an urge to embrace the action of painting and the full freedom of its expression. What developed was a non-objective abstract composition based off of feelings which were influenced from an actual composition of music playing at the time. The paint fell to the canvas and revealed itself in the most natural of ways. I feel there came across a beauty that I really didn’t create. At the time creation, I was very much entranced by the song that seemed to speak to me. My mind melted away and my body and hands moved to the melody. What a pleasure it was to create this abstract painting." - Jaison Cianelli
