About Me
I am a self taught, self-representing artist compelled to create inspirational paintings and drawings from my heart. I feel that life is precious, and while I am alive I have the opportunity to use my inner creative spirit to uplift others and try to make this world a better place.
My passion in art and design has taken me on a journey that continues to evolve. I paid attention to the arts while living in Boston attending Wentworth Institute of Technology. After receiving a bachelor degree in Industrial Design I moved to Nantucket Island where I began to focus and explore my true creative potential in the arts. I currently reside in New Hampshire and in 2006 began sharing and selling my artwork locally and on the web here at Cianelli Studios.
About My Art
I enjoy working with acrylic paints, glazes, and pastes to build up layers of brush stroke and texture. I also use oil pastels, pencil, and charcoal. While my artwork varies, all of it is an expression that speaks from my heart.
All my artwork is done on quality canvas or artist paper. For my landscape paintings, I like to use gallery wrapped canvas that has a 1.5" and staple free sides. I'll either continue a painting onto the sides or paint the sides a solid color. And because they come wired, they are actually suitable for hanging without a frame.
I always try to keep costs low on my original paintings and prints. The reason being that I hope many people can share in what I have to offer. I personally take care of all orders that are through this website and ship the artwork directly to customers. If for any reason someone were unsatisfied with a painting or print, I give a full refund as long as I receive the artwork back in the same condition in under a months time.
